The blinding pain slams me around, flips me over. I land hard on my back. Mechanically, like a clockwork doll, I grab my arm. It's bleeding. Another explosion, this one further away, and another hail of bullets. I skitter backwards. I look and see my battalion racing forwards, fanning out through...
Continue »My wife's brother stayed with us this past summer. Originally I wasn't too keen on having this 19 year old street tough around, but as things developed, I'm glad my wife talked me into it. She's 22 and I'm 23, by the way. When Tim arrived, he looked exactly like I remembered him. Leather jacket,...

sip or mixed in another drink and the recipient was taken over by
uncontrollable lust. Yea, right. But it was the latest craze

fad of the month fluff piece.

The Christian owners of a B&B who refused to let a gay couple share a double bed because it would be “an affront to their faith” are being sued for discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation.
Civil partners Martyn Hall and Steven Preddy reported owners Peter and Hazelmary Bull to the police after they were prohibited from sharing a double room in the Cornwall guesthouse and offered separate single rooms instead. The Bulls’ operate a strict policy that allows only married heterosexual couples to share double beds in their B&B.
The men have taken the case to Bristol Crown Court using the 2007 Equality Act to claim £5,000 damages in a case due to start next week.
Both parties have had their legal fees funded - the Bulls’ by the Christian Institute, and Hall and Preddy’s by the Equality and Human Rights Commission - with the landmark ruling set to have far-reaching effects on the rights of Christian guesthouse and hotel owners.
A spokesman for the Christian charity, Mike Judge, said the case could have “far-reaching ramifications for religious liberty”.
He added: “This case is about liberty of conscience. This guesthouse is Mr. and Mrs. Bull’s own home.
“They have rights too, and they should not be forced to act against their sincerely held religious beliefs under their own roof.
“This Christian couple are being put on trial for their beliefs. Equality laws are being used as a sword rather than a shield.”
As reported by the Daily Mail, Mrs. Bull, 66, said: “I have had people clearly involved in affairs and under-age people who have tried to book in here for sex, and I have refused them the same as I refused these gentleman because I won’t be a party to anything which is an affront to my faith under my roof.”
A spokesman for gay rights charity Stonewall responded: “We look forward to the hotel changing its policy to reflect equality, the 21st century and the law.”
The case takes place at Bristol Crown Court on Monday 13 December and is expected to last for two days
