Acclaimed US comedienne Tina Fey has said she'd come out as lesbian at America's Superbowl – if she ever took a shine to women.
She made the comment at Saturday's Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) awards, where she collected an accolade for hit TV show 30 Rock, in which she features.
When asked how she'd ideally come out, Fey – who is straight and won huge acclaim for her portrayal of Sarah Palin in a pre-Presidential election skit in 2009 – said: "Halftime at the Super Bowl...but if that couldn't happen I'd place a pic of myself saying 'I'm gay!' in the Oscars' In Memorium segment."
According to PopEater.com, Fey also told the audience how 30 Rock was working toward an creating an atmosphere of inclusiveness on network TV.
"Liz Lemon's bisexual shoes, Jenna Maroney's semi-transgendered boyfriend -– and Jack Donaghy buys a struggling cable network called Twinks!" she added.
30 Rock won the award for Outstanding Individual Episode (in a series without a regular LGBT character).
