EVA Longoria and Teri Hatcher are to snog on Desperate Housewives — with the pair saying that filming the kiss was “fun”.
The sultry brunettes — who play Gabrielle Solis and Susan Mayer — lock lips in the new series, starting on Channel 4 this month.
Details of the saucy storyline are being kept top secret, but Teri, 44, let slip that Gabi comes on to Susan. She said: “I did not kiss her. She kissed me. We had fun.”
And Eva, 33, reckons her co-star enjoyed the smooch — insisting that she has great snogging skills.
She added: “I’m a great kisser. Teri was not supposed to kiss back, so she was kind of just there. I had to do all the work.”
The new series will also see the departure of fifth housewife Edie Britt, played by Nicollette Sheridan — who revealed last month she was planning to leave the show.
After five years on Wisteria Lane — during which time Edie has survived a tornado and faked her own death — Nicollette is finally hanging up her leopardskin.
A show source told TV Biz the beauty will be killed off at the end of the new series, ruling out another shock comeback for her character.
Our insider said: “Edie is a huge character who will leave with a bang. The show’s creator, Marc Cherry, isn’t scared of big storylines and he wants to kill Edie off. And this time it will be for real.”
Another storyline saw Edie raise the alarm as a fire tore through a club, only for it to emerge her boyfriend started it — to cover his tracks after killing his shrink backstage.
